Optoelectronic isolation solid-state relay is an electronic relay that uses optoelectronic isolation technology.

It mainly consists of input circuit, optocoupler, drive circuit, and output circuit.

The application of optoelectronic isolation technology has achieved good electrical isolation between input and output, effectively improving the system's anti-interference ability and safety.

In terms of working principle, the input signal controls the optocoupler, which in turn drives the on and off of the output circuit. Compared to traditional electromagnetic relays, solid-state relays have the advantages of non-contact, long lifespan, fast response speed, and low noise, and are widely used in industrial automation control, power systems, instrumentation, and other fields.

Its advantages include: being able to withstand large surge currents and having strong tolerance to overvoltage and overcurrent; Fast switching speed, capable of achieving high-frequency switching; Due to the absence of mechanical contacts, no arcs or sparks will be generated, making it suitable for special environments such as flammable and explosive.

However, there are also some limitations to optoelectronic isolation solid-state relays, such as high conduction voltage drop, which may generate certain heat; The price is relatively high; The ability to withstand overload is relatively weak.
