Normal (no magnetic field) The self-elasticity of the reed is separated, the contact is disconnected, and the circuit is blocked. Close to magnet/energized coil (with magnetic field) The reeds are magnetized, the opposite magnetic poles generated at the overlapping ends are attracted to each other, the contacts are closed, and the circuit is conducted. Magnetic field evacuation The magnetism disappears, the reed springs back by its own elasticity, and the contact is disconnected.
